　　迪士尼以福尔摩斯和华生为原型（严格说仅借鉴了他们的职业和关系），塑造了一个执着于案情，头脑冷静的牛仔帽奇奇和酷爱娱乐，总是莽打莽撞身着红底黄色花纹的夏威夷衫蒂蒂。性格大致上与老版接近，只是更具体更形像化了。奇奇作为救难小福星的领导者，扮演严厉，不苟言笑，不喜欢浪费时间，同时对蒂蒂有诸多不满的案件狂人，蒂蒂常常为了小便宜落入陷阱，因为贪玩和奇奇争吵，酷爱漫画，崇尚荧幕英雄，幻想浪漫主义等等，都与奇奇格格不入。但就是这样一对组合却是最佳搭档，因为完全在性格上形成了互补，彼此欠缺的都可以在对方身上得到提醒和指正，包括团队其它成员蒙弟（Monterey Jack），阿洁（Gadget Hackwrench），小拉链（Zipper），各有其优缺点，这样反到使关系始终处在平衡点上，危难之时默契相守，每每有惊无险，出奇制胜。
