◎简　　介
　　　　百万富翁雷克斯（汤姆·威尔金森 Tom Wilkinson 饰）被人发现遭到了毒杀，死在了自己的办公室中，现场除了死者口袋里发现的黑麦外，没有任何的线索。然而，他的死只是一个开始，不久之后，雷克斯那年轻的妻子亦被发现死于客厅之中，凶手在现场留下了一块吃了一半，涂抹了蜂蜜的面包。 　　接下来遭殃的是雷克斯家中的女仆（安妮特·白兰特 Annette Badland 饰），凶手在她的鼻子上夹上了一枚晾衣夹。马普尔小姐（琼·希克森 Joan Hickson 饰）发现这一切都和那首古老的童谣中所描绘的景象极为相似，而所有的案件，似乎都与二十年前的黑画眉金矿有着千丝万缕的关联。
