　　环球在40年代推出了一套低成本悬疑系列电视电影“内部圣所之谜”。 这套影片根据当时很火的悬疑电台节目改编，由小朗·钱尼主演。“召唤死亡医生"是该系列的第1部。由于原节目时长只有30分钟，为了改编成更长的影片，制片方增加了很多场景和人物对白将故事拓展成了1小时。另外，公司为了宣传噱头，当初还以小朗·钱尼的父亲朗·钱尼主演作为宣传。
第一部剧情简介：妻子被毁容并杀害，自己毫无疑问成为了警方的重点怀疑对象，可是自己却失去了两天的记忆.. （拖延症字幕没有组）
