　　中年男子瓜尔蒂耶奥过着再普通不过的日子，但妻子拉莫娜却不喜欢这样的平淡生活，最终还是带着女儿离开了他。除了工作就是和朋友一起打游戏机。虽已与妻子离婚，但两人的关系没有视同水火，女儿玛蒂娜成了他们之间唯一的牵绊。一次朋友聚会是无心举行地降神会让瓜尔蒂耶奥召唤出了玛丽莲·梦露，他先是叫来了警察，而后又认为自己患上了精神病，而病友阿诺尔福却通过亲身经历告诉他这不是病，他是真的看到了梦露的魂魄。最终在梦露的鼓励下瓜尔蒂耶奥鼓起勇气向妻子表白，可妻子却告诉他自己即将另嫁他人。他希望自己成为女儿心中最勇敢的爸爸，但女儿是否又会重新认识这个平凡的爸爸呢？
