◎简　　介

　　堪萨斯州的南部小城高中生巴德（ 沃伦·比蒂 Warren Beatty 饰）喜欢上了迪妮（娜塔利·伍德 Natalie Wood 饰），且有非卿不娶的想法．但是由于保守的观念，父亲不淮，认为生理需求可以用金钱解决，要求他等到大学毕业后再谈论终身大事，结果巴德与一个浪荡女生（奥黛丽·克里斯蒂 Audrey Christie 饰）发生了关系，令迪妮大受刺激至精神错乱送到精神病院，而巴德则遣送回乡，待迪妮复原后回乡探视巴德，发现巴德已由一个活泼绚烂的少年归于平淡，顿感现实的残酷和寂寞。

　　本片曾荣获1961年第24届奥斯卡获最佳故事与剧本奖。
