　　一名来自伦敦东区的登徒子，夜郎自大的自比为风流的「唐璜」，问题是他没有唐璜的侠义精神，只学到了风流耍帅的ㄧ面。他的座右铭就是：尽可能与各式各样的女人寻欢作乐！凭着自己英俊的长相和油嘴滑舌四处拈花惹草，和各式不同的女人鬼混。

　　伦敦人阿尔菲是个享乐主义者，他把女人搞得神魂颠倒后始乱终弃。他与纯情少女有染，弄得未婚先孕；同已婚少妇偷情，让人家婚姻和爱情两头落空。他感染肺病住进医院，在生病中与医院的护士小姐翻云覆雨。临出院前，他和其他病人的妻子调情。直到有一天，他在一位风流寡妇那里，吃了闭门羹，原来这位富婆趁着阿尔菲不在身边的空隙结交了一位更有吸引力的少年郎君。阿尔菲自命得意地去找他昔日的女友和情妇，这些人对他冷淡，全都对他失去了兴趣。阿尔菲感到孤独，开始反省自己的生活。
