◎简 介
二战时期，美军的第八空袭部队在与德军长期交战后损失惨重，全队的气势和斗志都已耗尽，但紧张的战况却不容许他们有半点的松懈。于是，总部派来了新的指挥官弗兰克(格里高利·派克饰)来接管这批队伍，希望能重振旗鼓。弗兰克面对的任务是极其艰难的，但是他坚定的意志、不凡的气度和顽强的抵抗精神深深地感染了部队的每一位成员，最终他们作出的贡献远远超过了一支队伍的标准。
