◎简　　介


　　一向风平浪静的迈阿密突然掀起风波，一队著名足球队视作吉祥动物的海豚无故失踪，令球员士气低落，为此，足球队的市场总监玛丽莎惟有向大名鼎鼎的飞机头求助。这位打扮与众不同，破案率达百分之百的神探艾斯一口答应，但当中他竟发现在简单的问题下，却隐藏一大҉秘密……

幕后制作

　　本片是无厘头巨星金·凯瑞成名作，他在片中的飞机头造型夸张而抢眼，挤眉弄眼的大动作更打破了好莱坞笑星的固有表演模式，被中国影迷称为“西方周星驰”。文艺片女星西恩·扬在片中有牺牲色相的搞笑表演。在这之前，凯瑞曾在一个黑人的喜剧小品电视节目中演了七年的白人摆设。本片受到评论家的一致唾弃及影迷的疯狂追捧。续集《王牌威龙二：非洲大疯狂》（Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls，1995）将场景移到非洲，金·凯瑞为非洲部落的和平而继续他的疯狂搞笑。

花絮

·片中出现的Shady Acres精神病院是在暗指导演汤姆·沙迪亚克的姓氏“Shadyac”。
·劳恩·霍利曾竞争本片的女主角。 
·金·凯瑞坚持Cannibal Corpse(食人尸)乐队在影片中表演，因为他最喜欢这支乐队。而该乐队在片中演唱的单曲“Hammer Smashed Face”出自于他们的第三张专辑《Tomb of the Mutilated》。
