【内容简介】
　　中国监狱黑幕电影中以林岭东导演的本片最为著名，剧情描述好青年梁家辉因家中的杂货店遭不良分子骚扰，在反抗时于混乱中失手杀了人，被判入狱三年。他因个性憨直而在狱中得罪了黑帮大哥，幸得老囚犯周润发加以帮忙指点，两人结为患难知交。不幸他们碰到了喜欢狐假虎威的狱卒张耀扬，黑帮跟他勾结恶整周润发，引起了一场监狱大**。
