　　布茨将查理带上了车，欺骗查理他们要去钓鱼，可实际上，他们真正的目的地是远在3000英里外的约克角。得知自己受骗，查理大发雷霆，可在儿子的一再坚持下，他只得默默忍受。路上，女孩杰西（摩根·格莉芬 Morgan Griffin 饰）搭上了他们的顺风车，杰西的乐观和开朗逐渐改变了父子之间紧张的气氛，也化解了两人多年以来结下的误会和冤仇。
